The Hamrin Foundation, Herenco and Media & Democracy, together at Lindholmen Science Park!
Having the privilege to meet and gain insight into each other's businesses, exchange experiences and learn from each other, add new knowledge and take home valuable insights - it is that kind of day when you feel energized and hopeful!
We, The Hamrin Foundation, Herenco and Media & Democracy had just such a day on January 15, at Lindholmen Science Park.
We started the day with Johan Löfvenholm, CEO of Lindholmen Science Park, taking us on a journey from the time when there were boatyards at Lindholmen to how it looks today when it has become an Innovation District. A lot has happened, what a development!
At Visual Arena, we got an exciting insight into how technology can awaken new perspectives. Martin Högenberg, program manager, let us test VR glasses and showed how to use the technology to explore experiences with empathy.
Visualizing something makes it easier to understand than just seeing it as a diagram or a text.
Conny Svensson from AI Sweden explained about AI and that we shouldn't think of AI as a tool but more as abilities that can become a tool. He also talked about reasoning AI, an AI that thinks a while before answering. Wow, there is so much going on and you have to keep up with it!.
Lovisa Hamrin, The Hamrin Foundation & Herenco, talked about her personal journey with the legacy she received from her grandfather and father, how she has managed the changes, how she has approached the new era and what she now wants to do with The Hamrin Foundation and the Herenco Group. The team is important, it is not a one-man show, she says.
We at The Hamrin Foundation think it is important with the future information & media landscape, which is why we financially support the Media & Democracy research & innovation program.
Hanna Ståhl, CEO of The Hamrin Foundation and Martin Holmberg, Program Manager Media & Democracy, summarize the collaboration by stating that the common denominator for us is that we want to be involved and influence, we want to make a difference. It can be planting a seed, asking a question that then results in a project that provides the answers.
We can be a catalyst, the one who provides some starting gas to get a project flying. Together we work forward by having fast processes and by expanding our networks!
Thank you to everyone involved for an incredibly exciting, inspiring and fun day!
