Hamhus, a locally rooted real estate player at the forefront

The Hamrin foundation is the proud owner of the real estate company Hamhus AB. As a long-term and customer-focused real estate player in the Jönköping area, Hamhus has a clear focus on centrally located commercial properties. Simon Harrius, CEO of Hamhus, emphasizes the company's ambitions: “We are already there: we are not planning for growth, we are already doing it.” The company has grown steadily in recent years and is now taking another step in its expansion strategy. 

Acquisition of building rights at Jönköping University

In 2024, Hamhus acquired a building plot in central Jönköping, right next to Jönköping University. This means a significant growth of 25% for the company. Simon Harrius shares his enthusiasm for the project: “We look forward to being able to offer high quality, newly built office space in a great location in central Jönköping next to Jönköping University.”

Estimated occupancy and capacity

The new office building, which is expected to be ready for occupation in 2027/2028, will comprise an impressive lettable area of 6000 square meters. Hamhus focuses not only on providing space, but also on creating an environment where tenants can thrive and grow. “As a tenant, you have the opportunity to influence both the size and design of the premises,” adds Harrius.

Focus on environmentally friendly properties

Sustainability and long-term thinking are key values for Hamhus. As members of the Sweden Green Building Council and with several properties already certified according to Miljöbyggnad iDrift, a Swedish certification system for the operational phase of buildings, focusing on sustainability and environmental performance, they strive to make a positive difference for both the environment and society.
