In January, representatives from The Hamrin Foundation, Lovisa Hamrin and Hanna Ståhl, participated in a study trip to Biella in northern Italy. The trip was organized by Art Initiative at the Stockholm School of Economics, which The Hamrin Foundation supports through annual grants.
The visit included a full day at the groundbreaking institution Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto, founded by the Italian artist Michelangelo Pistoletto. Pistoletto is a central figure in the Arte Povera movement and has gained international recognition for his work that combines art with social engagement and sustainable development.
Cittadellarte is a unique place where art, education, innovation, and social development intertwine. The institution aims to inspire positive change by fostering collaboration between artists, entrepreneurs, and academics.
Students and teachers from the Art Initiative at the Stockholm School of Economics also participated in the trip, which provided an opportunity to deepen their understanding of how art and entrepreneurship can contribute to creating long-term solutions to societal challenges.
The Hamrin Foundation, with a strong tradition of promoting media, culture and education, is proud to support initiatives that empower young talents and encourage creative thinking.
