Three distinguished awardees celebrated for groundbreaking research communication
In collaboration with Örebro University, we proudly present research communication award winners who contribute to a more informed and democratic public debate.
Together with Örebro University, we are proud to present three outstanding laureates in science communication!
Stefan Jansson, Professor of Plant Cell and Molecular Biology at Umeå University, Lena Nordlund, science journalist at Sveriges Radio, and Mats Eriksson, Professor of Nursing Science at Örebro University, are each awarded a prize for outstanding research communication.
"Communication about research is of utmost importance to create informed citizens in a democratic society. It can be crucial for making correct decisions on complex societal issues. Knowledge of new research results is also of great value to people," says Johan Schnürer, Vice-Chancellor of Örebro University.
The prizes will be awarded in connection with Örebro University's Academic Ceremony on February 17.
